I'm Shourya Sharma. I'm a software engineer, currently working at ComplyAdvantage. Right now, I've been working mostly in python, but that doesn't mean I don't have a lot of stuff to play with. In just the last 3 weeks, I've got the opportunity to work on web scrapers built on Selenium, get to grips with a complex web application built using Django, and pick up some DevOps skills with github actions and kubernetes.
I like coding. I like learning. I like building things. Over the next year, I want to be able to say I've explored different technologies, and learnt how to apply my understanding of them onto some projects. Unfortunately, I'm also a bit of a procrastinator, so I know I'm also quite likely to get disheartened by the sheer amount of content I have available to me. So each week, I will be writing a blog right here to go over what I've done in the past week, and what I'm currently working on, in the hope that it enables me to carry on working and not just give up halfway through the year. If you'd like to stay tuned to what I'm doing here, then be sure to check in each Monday for an update. This week, I'll be aiming to to get a better understanding of remix.js, and (hopefully) I'll start to apply it by updating my portfolio website. I'll also be trying to use tailwind CSS to style my site, so you might see this blog change a bit over time as well. Anyways, that's all for this week, so I'll see you all next Monday!
